9 Practical Ways Teams Can Use HubSpot Work

HubSpot Work is one of the more interesting additions to HubSpot in a while because it addresses something that has traditionally happened around the CRM rather than inside it.

Your customer data may live in HubSpot, but the work associated with that data often doesn’t.

Client onboarding gets tracked in spreadsheets. Internal requests arrive through Slack. Marketing projects live in separate project-management tools. Sales reps maintain account plans in documents. HubSpot admins field requests through email, chat, and conversations.

HubSpot Work is designed to bring more of that operational work into HubSpot.

Currently available in public beta, HubSpot Work combines tables, documents, forms, and AI agents in a workspace that is natively connected to the CRM.

Here are nine practical ways teams can use it.

HubSpot Work Is Now Live in Public Beta

HubSpot has launched HubSpot Work, now available in public beta, and this is one of the more interesting product updates I’ve seen from them recently.

At first glance, HubSpot Work sounds like project management: projects, tasks, tables, documents, forms, and workflows.

But I don’t think the real story is that HubSpot is building another place to manage projects.

The real story is that they’re bringing the work your teams do around your CRM directly into HubSpot, where it can use the customer data that’s already there.

And with AI agents added to the mix, that opens up some very interesting possibilities.

HubSpot Just Made Conversation Data Searchable in Breeze Assistant

HubSpot has released a public beta that I think could be far more significant than it sounds at first glance: your HubSpot conversation history is now searchable in Breeze Assistant.

That includes emails, live chats, and messages associated with your customer conversations.

The important part isn’t simply that Breeze can search them. It’s what this makes possible for HubSpot users who have historically had very limited ways to analyze the actual content of their conversations.

HubSpot Custom Events No Longer Need a CRM Record. Here’s Why That Matters.

How a new HubSpot automation capability can connect external systems, streamline operations, and help teams respond faster.

HubSpot has introduced an update to custom events that opens up new possibilities for businesses using multiple systems to manage their operations.

As of September 15, 2026, custom events can be created without being associated with a CRM record. Previously, every custom event needed to be tied to an object, such as a contact, company, deal, or ticket.

With this update, businesses can use events occurring outside their CRM to trigger automation in HubSpot’s new agentic automation builder, even when those events aren’t associated with a particular customer.

That might sound like a small technical change, but it has some interesting practical applications.

HubSpot’s Customizable CRM Record Title Cards Are a Small Change With a Big Impact

HubSpot has rolled out a new public beta that lets admins customize the title card at the top of CRM records, and I think this is one of those seemingly small updates that is going to make a meaningful difference for teams with more customized HubSpot portals.

Until now, HubSpot determined which properties appeared in that prominent area at the top of a record. You could customize the cards underneath it, but the title area itself was largely fixed.

With the Customizable Title Card on CRM Records beta, admins can now add up to five custom properties to that space, so the information your team cares about most can be visible immediately.

And there are plenty of situations where that can solve a very real CRM problem.
