HubSpot Revenue Agent: Why This New AI-Powered Collections Tool Matters

HubSpot has introduced a new beta that I think could be one of the more meaningful applications of AI inside the CRM for finance teams: Revenue Agent.

Revenue Agent is HubSpot’s new accounts receivable agent. It works across your open invoice portfolio, monitors which invoices need attention, creates personalized collections plans, sends reminders, listens for customer replies and invoice changes, and recommends or takes next steps throughout the collections process.

What makes this particularly interesting is that you do not have to invoice from HubSpot to use it.

If you use QuickBooks, your invoices can sync into HubSpot and Revenue Agent can manage collections against them. HubSpot also supports custom integrations with other accounting and billing systems, so the agent can work across invoices that originate outside of HubSpot as well.

As a HubSpot consultant, I think that’s a very important part of this update.

HubSpot’s New Scheduled Prompts Make Breeze Assistant Much More Useful

HubSpot recently rolled out a new Breeze Assistant feature that I think is much more important than it might initially sound: Scheduled Prompts.

Until now, Breeze Assistant has mostly been reactive. You open it, ask a question, and it gives you an answer.

With Scheduled Prompts, you can now tell Breeze to run that prompt automatically on a recurring schedule, whether that’s daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. The result will be waiting for you in your Breeze Assistant chat list when you log into HubSpot.

As a HubSpot consultant, I think this is a pretty significant step forward in how companies can actually incorporate AI into their day-to-day operations.

Customer Agent Now Responds to Form Submissions (Beta)

HubSpot is rolling out a meaningful update to Customer Agent — and it’s currently available in beta by request.

Customer Agent can now automatically respond to inbound form submissions in Help Desk or Inbox workspaces, sending a personalized reply email directly to the submitter. No human needed for that first touch.

Better Meeting Reporting Is Coming: a Good Reminder to Audit Your CRM Setup

HubSpot is making an important change to how recorded meetings are logged, and while it may sound like a small backend update, I think it matters a lot for reporting, automation, and general CRM cleanliness.

Starting in August 2026, HubSpot will simplify how recorded meetings are tracked when they come from Notetaker, Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. Today, those recorded meetings can create both a Call record and a Meeting record in HubSpot. After this update, they will only create a Meeting record.

Call records are not going away. Calls will still exist for actual phone activity. But recorded meetings will no longer create duplicate Call records.

As a HubSpot consultant and member of the HubSpot Partner Program, I see this as a smart move toward cleaner CRM data. It also means HubSpot admins and revenue teams need to take a closer look at any workflows, reports, or processes that currently rely on Call records for meeting activity.

What Is the HubSpot Agent CLI and Why Does It Matter?

HubSpot Agent CLI is a new way for businesses to connect AI agents with HubSpot data, context, and actions from command-line environments. It is part of a broader shift toward agent-based work, where AI tools do more than answer questions. They can analyze information, identify issues, surface recommendations, and help complete routine work across a company’s systems.

The idea behind HubSpot Agent CLI is that AI agents should be able to work wherever teams already operate. Some people may interact with AI inside ChatGPT, Claude, or other conversational tools. Others may use more technical environments to build workflows, run analyses, or create automations. HubSpot Agent CLI is designed for those command-line and development-style environments, giving teams another way to bring HubSpot intelligence into their daily operations.
