If you’ve had a business conversation with me since early 2012, you know how much I love HubSpot, but today I’ve got a bone to pick with them. See, this “Delightion” stuff that @dharmesh talked about during his Inbound ’13 keynote address — humanizing the selling process, and delighting customers so much they become promoters of your brand — it put me into a big, ugly funk. HubSpot Inbound 2013: Day Three
Hi again, from HubSpot’s Inbound ’13 – Day 3! While my conference cohorts celebrate around the corner with One Republic, I come to you from the comfort of my Newbury Street hotel room. HubSpot Inbound 2013: Day Two
Hello from Day 2 of HubSpot’s Inbound ’13 in Boston! Today was totally exhausting and the best day I’ve had all year. HubSpot Inbound 2013: Day One
Hello from Boston’s gorgeous Back Bay! It’s been a busy and exciting day that started with checking the #INBOUND13 Twitter feed (I think we are going to break the internet this week), dropping my son off at summer camp, and then a long drive to Boston. To get me in the Inbound mood, I brought along HubSpot’s opening keynote speaker, Seth Godin, in the form of his audio book “The Icarus Deception.” The gist of this book is do what you love with all your heart, create “art,” and be brave enough to venture outside your comfort zone.
