HubSpot Consulting Pricing: What Does a HubSpot Consultant Cost?

If you’re researching HubSpot consulting services, you’ve probably noticed that it can be surprisingly difficult to find actual pricing.

So I’ll start with mine.

My current HubSpot consulting pricing is:

  • One-off HubSpot projects start at $500
  • HubSpot onboarding and implementation starts at $1,500
  • Ongoing HubSpot consulting starts at $3,000 per month, with engagements ranging up to approximately $7,500 per month

I’ve worked with HubSpot since 2012 and have been a HubSpot Solutions Partner since 2014. I work directly with my clients, and my consulting is hands-on. That means I’m not simply recommending what your team should do in HubSpot. I’m the person actually doing the work.

The amount you’ll ultimately pay depends on what you need help with, how complex your HubSpot setup is, and whether you need a single project, implementation help, or an ongoing consulting relationship.

Here’s how my pricing works and what you should consider when comparing HubSpot consultants.

HubSpot Consulting for Professional Services Firms: What to Look For

Professional services firms often have a different relationship with HubSpot than companies selling a straightforward product.

Your sales cycle may be long. Multiple people may be involved in winning an account. Relationships matter. Referrals matter. The person who originally generated an opportunity may not be the person who ultimately closes it. And a single client relationship can lead to multiple engagements over several years.

That can make implementing HubSpot more complicated than simply creating a pipeline and moving deals from one stage to the next.

If you’re evaluating HubSpot consulting services for a professional services firm, the consultant’s job shouldn’t just be to configure HubSpot. They need to understand how your firm actually develops business and translate that process into a CRM your team will use.

What Does Long-Term HubSpot Consulting Actually Look Like?

Most businesses don’t finish implementing HubSpot and suddenly have nothing left to do.

Your business changes. Your sales process evolves. New campaigns launch. Employees come and go. Integrations get added. Someone creates a workflow for a very good reason, and two years later nobody remembers what that reason was.

That’s why some businesses need more than HubSpot onboarding or occasional technical help. They need long-term HubSpot consulting from someone who understands both the platform and how their business uses it.

I’ve worked with some of my HubSpot clients for years. Over time, the relationship becomes much less about completing a list of HubSpot tasks and much more about becoming an extension of their team.

Here’s what that actually looks like.

HubSpot Consultant vs. Agency for SMB Teams

If you need help implementing HubSpot, cleaning up an existing portal, or getting more from the platform, one of the first decisions you’ll face is whether to hire an independent HubSpot consultant or a HubSpot agency.

Both can provide valuable HubSpot consulting services. But they tend to work very differently.

An agency may give you access to a larger team with specialists across multiple disciplines. An independent consultant gives you direct access to the person doing the work, often with a more flexible scope and fewer layers between your problem and the person solving it.

I’ve worked independently as a HubSpot Solutions Partner for more than a decade, and I’ve also worked alongside internal teams, agencies, developers, and other consultants. There’s no universally right answer.

The better question is: What kind of HubSpot help does your business actually need?
